In a effort to resurface from a year hidden away in our love cove, we have started this blog to reconnect. It's hard to believe that a year has passed already. Seeing God work in our relationship- molding us, surprising us, making us stronger together. Milwaukee has been such a amazing place to spend our first year. We have so many new traditions such as walk down to the harbor and sit on a park bench looking out to the sailboats on Lake Michigan, or stop by our Italian bakery for some fresh bread, or sit together at a coffee shop on a rainy day, or spend another night on our porch with a glass of wine or cup of coffee and listen to the church choir practice. We have had some sweet moments and made some big decisions this year....I love our neighborhood.
One of the most amazing blessings has been to be able to travel this year. Tony and I have made a pact to try to visit as many National Parks as possible. We have been able to go to the Smoky Mountains, Mammoth Caves and just got back from visiting the Grand Canyon..
We had a great time. :)
Life continues to move. Tony is doing amazing at Zywave and I am preparing to start studying my masters at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. We are so excited to see what God will do though this coming year and what other surprises he has for us.
